Mervyn Susser, MB, BCh, FRCP is the Gertrude H. Sergievsky Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology and Special Lecturer in the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He has continued involvement as advisor on several projects and programs, including HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, mainly in South Africa (Western Cape and KwaZulu/Natal), and in New York on development in very low birth weight infants.
